Jupiter High School overcame a slow start and a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to earn a thrilling 15–14 comeback victory over Palm Beach Lakes.

When the action picked up in the second quarter, Jupiter had the ball in the red zone with an opportunity to score. However, a bad snap sailed over the quarterback’s head, disrupting the possession and eventually resulting in a turnover on downs.

Palm Beach Lakes took over and immediately put together a promising drive. The Rams appeared poised to continue their early dominance, while Jupiter came out looking slow and flat.

Despite the difficult start, the Warriors never abandoned their identity. “We believe in physicality and violence,” Jupiter head coach Josh Brooks said. “We are a hard-nosed team. Win, lose or draw, they are going to feel us. We will play hard until the end of the whistle.”

Trailing 14–0 with approximately nine minutes remaining, Jupiter desperately needed something to change the direction of the game. That spark came when the Warriors’ defense recorded a safety, creating a major momentum shift.

Linebacker Zach Sulyma followed with one of the game’s biggest defensive plays, delivering a clutch sack on third down. The stop gave Jupiter’s offense another opportunity to complete the comeback.

Quarterback Dylan Foltz connected with Drew Larsen for a touchdown pass, bringing the Warriors closer. After the game, Foltz credited his faith for helping him perform in the biggest moments.

“God plays a huge part in the success of my game,” Foltz said. “All glory to God.”

Ace Bogedan later powered his way into the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown catch and run, helping Jupiter complete its comeback and take a 15–14 lead.

Palm Beach Lakes still had an opportunity to answer, but Jupiter’s Nick Bothe sealed the victory with a game-clinching interception. Bothe made an impact throughout the contest by playing quarterback, running back and safety.

“It’s not how you start, but how you finish,” Bothe said. “We are a family, and we will fight through everything. Faith in God is a huge part of my game. All glory to God.”

Brooks praised his players for refusing to quit despite being down two touchdowns late in the game. “I am proud of these guys for fighting back after being down 14 points with nine or 10 minutes left,” Brooks said.

Jupiter’s dramatic victory reflected the toughness, unity and faith that Brooks and his players have worked to establish. The Warriors may have started slowly, but they finished the game together—and walked away with an unforgettable 15–14 win.
